    We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with excellent cleanliness, hotel facilities including a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by mandarin trees, amazing breakfast with local produce and daily freshly baked cake, and friendly staff who provided great recommendations and also took us on a tour to the chocolate factory.

    No issues.

    The location of the hotel is perfect for those who love chocolate, with a tour of the chocolate factory and chocolate bars to take home. the garden and common areas are perfect for relaxing and enjoying afternoon tea and wine. the hotel is in the Alentejo region, making it an ideal base to explore the nearby wineries. the rooms are tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and bed linen. the staff is friendly, and breakfast is exceptional, with gluten-free options provided.

    One minor issue that some guests may have is that some of the rooms can be a little dark due to minimal natural lighting.

    Our stay at this charming historical hotel was beyond expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel at home. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh local ingredients and a variety of options. We also appreciated the convenient location, just a short distance from the city center and main attractions. the daily room cleaning was excellent, making our stay even more enjoyable.

    Honestly, we cannot think of anything negative to say about our stay. From start to finish, everything was fantastic.

    Spent Xmas here. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Loved the hot chocolate and freshly baked scones. the location was perfect, surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards. Really enjoyed the tour of the chocolate factory. It was a great experience to see how chocolate is made and we also got to taste some delicious chocolates. the large comfortable beds were a plus.

    The room felt a bit too dark, perhaps some more lighting would have helped. the road leading to the hotel was a little hard to find, some signs could have been helpful.
